The Chairman of the Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority and Coordinating Chairman of the 12 River Basin Development Authorities Chairmen Forum, Chief Dr. Amos Gizo, has reaffirmed the commitment of the River Basin Development Authorities to delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda across Nigeria’s 36 states.
During a recent retreat in Abuja, Dr. Gizo assured President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the Chairmen’s readiness to fulfill their mandate.
He acknowledged the significant tasks assigned to them and pledged to deliver on the mandate, expressing gratitude to the President for entrusting them with this responsibility.
Dr. Gizo emphasized the importance of teamwork among Managing Directors, Executive Directors, and his colleagues to achieve their goals.
He thanked the Honourable Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Professor Joseph Utsev, for organizing the retreat and ensuring a smooth transition for the new appointees.
Dr. Gizo added that the River Basin Development Authorities would do their utmost best to attract investors to build the River Basin and achieve desirable development in Nigeria.
He appreciated the opportunities and expressed the Chairmen’s commitment to working together to achieve their objectives.
The Chairmen’s commitment to delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda is expected to have a positive impact on the development of Nigeria’s water resources and sanitation sector.
