JUST IN: Tinubu’s Political Adviser, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed Resigns

Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s political adviser, has resigned from his position, citing personal reasons.

According to sources within the presidency, Baba-Ahmed submitted his resignation about two weeks ago, but the reasons behind his decision were not disclosed.

Baba-Ahmed, a former Chief of Staff to ex-Senate President Bukola Saraki, has had a distinguished career in public service, holding various key positions, including Permanent Secretary in the Presidency and Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

His resignation comes after a notable clash with Minister of State for Defence Bello Mohammed Matawalle, who criticized Baba-Ahmed’s comments on the Northern Elders Forum (NEF).
