North-central APC warns Aggrieved Members Against Attack On SFG Akume, others

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the North-central zone has issued a stern warning to “faceless” political groups to cease attacking the party’s leaders.

The warning comes after a recent media attack on Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, by an unregistered political group in the zone.

According to a statement signed by APC National Vice Chairman (North-central), Hon. Mu’azu Bawa Rijau, and Zonal Secretary, Hon. Yakubu Adamu, the party condemns the attacks on Sen. George akume and reaffirms its confidence in Akume and the five elected governors in the zone.

The APC emphasized that only the zonal leadership, as constituted and recognized by the National Working Committee (NWC), is authorized to speak or comment on party activities in the zone.

The party warned that failure to comply with this directive will attract legal consequences.

The APC also commended the leadership provided by its five governors in the zone, acknowledging their contributions to the party’s growth and development.

The party expressed pride in the infrastructural and human development projects underway in the zone, citing the governors as “shining stars” in delivering democracy dividends to the people.
