Recognizing and appreciating the efforts of others is indeed a wonderful way to boost moral, Foster positive working environment and inspire others to strive for excellence, this perhaps formed the basis for my commendation and I feel compelled to formally acknowledge the exceptional leadership and commitment displayed by the executive Governor of Plateau State Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, the Secretary to the Government of the State (SGS), Arch. Samuel Jatau, the Permanent Secretary Security Mr. Wycliffe Biwet, and the entire Lt. Gen. Jeremiah Useni Burial Committee members.
Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s decision to honor the late Lt. Gen. Jeremiah Timbut Useni with a state burial is a testament to his leadership and commitment to recognizing the contributions of distinguished citizens.
This gesture not only reflects the governor’s respect for Gen. Useni’s legacy, but also demonstrates his appreciation for the late General’s tireless efforts to promote peace and regional development.
Despite the complexities and challenges of past political events, Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s decision to honor Lt. Gen. JT Useni with a state burial stands as a testament to his leadership and commitment to unity and reconciliation.
By putting aside political differences and recognizing Gen. Useni’s contributions to the state, the Middle-Belt region and nation, Governor Mutfwang has demonstrated a remarkable sense of statesmanship and a willingness to prioritize the greater good.
The state burial, which was a culmination of efforts by a 23-man committee constituted by Governor Mutfwang, led by the SGS Arch. Samuel Jatau was indeed a fitting tribute to Gen. Useni’s remarkable life and service.
By honoring JT Useni with a state burial, Governor Mutfwang has ensured that Gen. Useni’s memory will continue to inspire future generations.
Kudos to Governor Mutfwang for this noble gesture and commitment to recognizing and celebrating the achievements of distinguished of Middle-Belt leader, which is a hallmark of exceptional leadership.
It is clear, that the outstanding contributions of the burial Committee led by the Plateau state SGS Arch. Samuel Jatau in ensuring a successful and dignified farewell of a great Middle-Belt patriot and champion of regional development cannot be overemphasized.
As Chairman of the Burial Committee, Arch. Samuel Jatau, fondly known for his ever-present smile, played a pivotal role in ensuring that the burial ceremony was well-organized and executed to perfection.
His unwavering commitment to this assignment was truly inspiring and espite the extensive travels between Abuja and Langtang, numerous meetings, and strategic engagements, he remained focused and determined throughout the process.
His ability to bring people together, facilitate seamless collaboration, and navigate complex logistics was remarkable and Every detail of the burial ceremony was meticulously planned and executed, thanks to his leadership.
Even during the funeral service, his dedication was evident—actively overseeing operations, ensuring a smooth flow of events, and demonstrating an extraordinary sense of responsibility under immense pressure.
The success of the event was a testament to his exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
Likewise, my commendation goes to Mr. Wycliffe Biwet, the Permanent Secretary Security, for his invaluable contributions to the burial arrangements, because his humility, diligence, and unwavering commitment, he played a crucial role in the success of the event.
Mr. Biwet’s expertise in security and logistics ensured the safety of all attendees and the seamless execution of the ceremony.
I also commend the entire Burial Committee for their dedication and professionalism, this is because their collective efforts exemplified true service, and their contributions will always be remembered.
In the Overall, this remarkable achievement was made possible by the unwavering support of our amiable Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, the New political leader of the Middle Belt.
His commitment to honoring the memory of Lt. Gen. Jeremiah Useni reflects his deep respect for our region’s heroes (The Middle-Belt).
Governor Mutfwang, by providing every necessary resource to ensure the success of the burial, has proving himself to be a leader with a good heart and a legacy worth emulating.
