PDP Presidential Aspirant Dr Gbenga Hashim Visits Caretaker Chair Takushara, Urges Unity Abuja, Nigeria – Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, a PDP presidential aspirant, has called for unity within the party amid ongoing factional disputes.
The PDP chieftain made the appeal during a visit to Honourable Abdulrhaman Mohammed Takushara, Chairman of the PDP Caretaker Committee, alongside FCT Chairman Hon. Ismail Mohammed Dogara.

“We need to end the division in our great party,” Dr. Olawepo-Hashim urged, emphasizing that a united Nigeria begins with a united PDP.
He encouraged Takushara to reach out to the Tanimu Turaki-led executive to resolve differences.

Dr. Olawepo-Hashim, a founding member of the PDP, has been advocating for peace and unity within the party. He believes the PDP remains the only truly national party with the capacity to rescue Nigeria in 2027, prioritizing national security, economic revival, and social justice.

The PDP is currently experiencing a leadership crisis, with two factions vying for control. The visit highlights ongoing efforts to reconcile the warring groups ahead of the 2027 elections.
