Thousands Of Plateau North Youths Rally Behind Bagos High-profile Summit, Endorses Gov. Mutfwang For Second Term

A massive turnout of over 3,000 youths from the six Local Government Areas of Plateau North Senatorial Zone converged on a one-day High-Profile Youth Summit organized by Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, former member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency.

The youths showed solidarity to Bagos as he outlined his vision for the future of Plateau North, particularly ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Addressing the youths, Bagos highlighted the innovative initiative by a group of youths within their network to articulate and discuss issues affecting the zone.

He expressed excitement to support their agenda, which focuses on creating a roadmap for action to address deep-rooted issues such as insecurity.

According to Bagos, the summit serves as a wake-up call for youths to take ownership of the process and demand more from their leaders.

He emphasized the need for substantive engagement, moving away from empty campaign promises.

Bagos pledged his commitment to working with the youth to address pressing concerns, including insecurity, which he identified as a major challenge facing Plateau North and Nigeria.

“We must work together to find solutions to these issues,” Bagos stated. “With the right leadership and collective efforts, we can solve the issue of insecurity in Plateau North and Nigeria at large.”

The youths in attendance showed overwhelming support for Bagos’ aspiration to serve as a Senator in 2027 insisting that they’ll fund his campaign from the beginning till the end.

The event climaxes with the overwhelming endorsement of Governor Caleb Mutfwang for a second term in office, following his developmental strides, genuine leadership, and inclusive governance, which has empowered many youths in the state with opportunities to serve.
