The Senior Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Plateau State on Middle-Belt Ethnic Nationalities, Hon. Dan Kwada, has expressed confidence in the ability of Rev. Wanson Yusufu Bagu, to effectively lead the Plateau State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board.
Hon. Kwada made this assertion on Tuesday during congratulatory visit to Rev. Bagu, in his office at 12 Lugard road in Jos, following the successful conclusion of the 2024/25 Christian pilgrimage operations to the Holy Land.
The Middle-Belt adviser noted, that Rev. Bagu’s appointment has ushered in a new era for the board, marked by successes and positive reports from the recently concluded operations. He described Rev. Bagu as a humble, diligent and hardworking man of God, whose appointment was divinely ordained by God through Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
Hon. Kwada urged Rev. Bagu, to sustain his devotion to duty and his ability to navigate challenges associated with the journey to the holy land, while reminding him of the importance of religious commitment in addressing challenges such as security, peace, and unity, in line with Governor Mutfwang’s administration.
The SSA also commended Governor Mutfwang’s transformative impact on the state, attributing his success to divine blessings and his love for the state which has restored hope for citizens in Plateau and the entire Middle-Belt Region.
In response, the Executive Secretary of the Plateau state Christian Pilgrims welfare board Rev. Yusuf Wanson Bagu, thanked Hon. Kwada for the visit, show of love and solidarity, despite his busy schedule.
He assured, that the board under his watch, would encourage initiatives and partnerships that would enhance the participation and spiritual upliftment of Christians in the state, considering the unwavering commitment of the Plateau state Governor in ensuring the welfare of Christian Pilgrims.
Rev. Bagu appreciated Governor Mutfwang’s commitment to the pilgrimage exercise and its positive impact on the people of Plateau, while calling on all citizens to unite against enemies of the peace and support the Governor Mutfwang’s transformative initiatives, which are restoring the lost glory of Plateau State.
