The Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Plateau State on Middle-Belt Affairs, Hon. Dan Kwada, extends warm congratulations to HRH Amb. Yahaya Kwande on his coronation and presentation of staff of office as the Long Kwo of Kwo Chiefdom by Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
The historic event and presentation of staff of office, which brought together top government functionaries, traditional rulers, community leaders, as well as sons and daughters of Kwo Chiefdom, and personalities from far and near, was officially performed by Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, at the Child-Friendly Primary School Playground, Kwande, Qua’an Pan Local Government Area.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Kwada described the coronation as a significant milestone for the Kwo Chiefdom, highlighting Governor Mutfwang’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and promoting unity in Plateau State and the Middle-Belt Region.
Hon. Kwada noted that the governor’s presentation of the staff of office signifies the government’s recognition of the importance of traditional institutions in promoting cultural heritage and preserving culture.
He expressed optimism that the monarch would provide leadership and commitment to promoting the welfare of the Kwo Chiefdom.Hon. Kwada further affirmed, that Amb. Yahaya Kwande’s experience as an elder statesman with commitment to societal growth positions will no doubt promote peace, unity, and development within Kwo Chiefdom and beyond.
While wishing HRH Amb. Yahaya Kwande a long and healthy reign, Hon. Kwada urged the monarch to strengthen the relationship between the government and traditional institutions, promoting peace and prosperity amongst his subjects.
