A devastating attack has occurred on Friday night, June 20, 2025, at a crowded fish market in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State, Nigeria when a suspected Boko Haram suicide bomber detonated an explosive device, killing 10 people and injuring seven others.
According to an eyewitnesses, the bomber, disguised as a civilian, infiltrated the market before setting off the explosives, causing widespread panic and chaos.

The Nigerian Army troops and emergency response teams were quickly deployed to the scene to provide assistance and evacuate victims while the injured victims were rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment, where they are currently receiving care.
