The Women’s Wing of the Mwagavul Development Association (MDA) has expressed strong support for the development initiatives of Plateau State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman, across Plateau Central Senatorial District and the entire state.
Led by it’s National President Mrs. Grace Gora, the women visited Commissioner Usman in his office, commending the Plateau State government under Governor Caleb Mutfwang for its development projects.
During the visit, Mrs. Gora sought collaboration with the Ministry to reach out to vulnerable individuals in the society and highlighted the importance of cooperation between government agencies and community organizations.
While responding, the Plateau state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman, appreciated the visit and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to advancing the state towards progressive development.
He highlighted the significant progress achieved under Governor Mutfwang’s administration and urged citizens to continue their support and cooperation.
The Commissioner pledged to support vulnerable groups, particularly orphans and widows, through the Mwagavul Development Association.
In recognition of his dedication, Hon. Chief Usman was honored with the Mwagavul attire and declared an adopted son of the Mwagavul nation.
This gesture reflects the community’s appreciation for the Commissioner’s efforts and underscores the government’s commitment to fostering positive relationships with local communities.
The meeting demonstrates the Plateau State Government’s commitment to working with community organizations and stakeholders to drive development and progress in the state, promoting collective progress and improving citizens’ lives.
