In a statement made available to Newsmen on Thursday April 10th 2025, Hon. Kwada condemned the act in totality, saying the Massacre of innocent souls and wide sprayed destruction of property in Middle-Belt Communities must be unequivocally condemned by all Nigerians.

According to Hon. Kwada, the attacks on innocent communities in Plateau State are unprovoked and appear to be a deliberate attempt to displace people from their ancestral homes for the purpose of land grabbing.

The SSA further stressed, that Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s description of the attacks as “genocide” and a well-coordinated plan to impoverish and intimidate the people, particularly during the farming season is nothing but the actual Truth.

Hon. Kwada expressed solidarity with the affected communities and the Governor Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, acknowledging the Governor’s unwavering commitment to addressing security challenges in Plateau State.

“Governor Mutfwang’s determination to tackle insecurity is evident in several initiatives, including the deployment of modern security technology recently tested at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja, aimed at combating attacks on communities”.

Hon. Kwada shares Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s view that the attacks on Plateau State communities are acts of criminality and genocide, rather than farmer-herder or native-settler clashes narrative.

The SSA attributed the resurgence of attacks and killings on the Plateau to a deliberate attempt to distract Governor Mutfwang, who has gained the people’s trust through his genuine leadership and narrative change, restoring hope across Plateau and the entire Middle-Belt Region, being the new Political Leader Of the Region.

While commiserating with community members and families who lost their loved ones during the attack, Hon. Kwada appealed to organizations, agencies and individuals, to come to the aid of the displaced communities who are now in various IDP camps in Bokkos.

The SSA’s appeal to Plateau State citizens, emphasizing unity against perpetrators of violence, regardless of faith or ethnic affiliation, highlighting the importance of unity among citizens in the face of violence, stressing that by coming together, citizens can support efforts to restore peace and promote a more stable future.
