Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has presented the Staff of Office to Professor Bulus Luka Gadiga as the Mbege Ka Michika, marking an important milestone in the state’s attempts to strengthen traditional institutions.

The ceremony, which took place on Thursday in Michika, was a grand celebration of cultural heritage, showcasing the rich traditions and customs of the Michika people.

The event was colorful, with a vibrant display of cultural performances, including traditional dances, music, and attire.

The venue was filled with dignitaries, community leaders, and residents of Michika, all gathered to witness the historic coronation.


The event was attended by other dignitaries which includes Governor Kefas Agbo of Taraba, the PDP National Chairman Alh. Damagun.

Other dignitaries who Grace the occasion include Sen. Rev. Amos Yohana, currently representing Adamawa North in the 10th Assembly, Hon. Zakaria Nyampa, Member Representing Michika Madagali Federal constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Yerima Moses, Member Representing Michika State constituency and many others.

During the ceremony, Governor Fintiri emphasized his administration’s determination to succeed, despite criticism from opposition forces.

He urged the people of Michika to support their new ruler in fostering peace, security, and economic growth.

“My administration is resolute in its determination to achieve success, and we will not be deterred by the voices of critics whose primary pastime seems to be sowing seeds of disaffection within our communities under the guise of political manoeuvres,” Governor Fintiri declared.

Professor Gadiga’s appointment as Mbege Ka Michika is based on merit and widespread approval by his community.

As a respected leader, he is expected to lead with fairness, honesty, and responsibility, promoting the welfare and development of the Michika people.

The coronation ceremony was attended by prominent traditional rulers, politicians, and community leaders.

The event marked a new era of peace, prosperity, and development in Michika, with Professor Gadiga at the helm as the Mbege Ka Michika.
