Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has inaugurated the reconstructed Onuebum-Otuoke Road, marking a significant milestone in the state’s infrastructure development.
The event was part of the celebrations for the 5th anniversary of the Prosperity Administration.
In his remarks, Governor Mutfwang commended his Bayelsa counterpart, Governor Douye Diri, for implementing people-oriented programs, particularly in road infrastructure, education, and healthcare.
Earlier in his remark, Governor Diri emphasized the importance of the federal government’s tax reforms bill, which he believes will transform the state’s revenue narrative.
Governor Diri also highlighted the significance of the reconstructed Onuebum-Otuoke Road, noting that it demonstrates his commitment to improving the well-being of the people.
The project’s completion is a testament to the state government’s efforts to address infrastructure challenges and promote economic growth.
In a related development, Governor Diri also called for the extension of Value-Added Tax (VAT) to the oil and gas sector which he Said will increase revenue generation and promote economic development in the state.
