Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has made a significant move, sacking all his Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, and Personal Assistants.
This decision was announced on during the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, and Commodore Yahaya Owuna (rtd) as the sole administrator of Udege Administrative Area.
The sacking takes immediate effect, as declared by Governor Sule on Friday, February 7, at the Government House in Lafia.
Interestingly, this move isn’t entirely unprecedented, as Governor Sule had previously dissolved the state executive council in 2021, citing the need for a more effective and efficient governance structure.
The governor has also been known to restructure the state’s administration, although the exact reasons behind this latest decision remain unclear.
